In the 1920s a game gained popularity in artistic circles when it was adopted as a technique by artists of the Surrealist movement. Each player would take turns drawing on a sheet of paper, folding it to conceal their contribution, and then passing it to the next player to continue the drawing. The game was called Cadavre Exquis. Exquisite Corpse.
100 years later, Waxbones and SicoCreative have resurrected the Exquisite Corpse and evolved it for a digital age. Setting the theme of Evolution and passing only artboards with connecting points to each other, neither of them knew what the other had drawn until the end.
A mix of styles and ideas, ‘Evolution’ is the first ever NFT Exquisite Corpse game.
